Still Going Strong....

It has been 6 months since I first laid eyes on Carl Barger. The spark has turned into a flame...we are so much in love ! Things moved so quickly in the beginning. We both felt like God brought us together...with a little help from Facebook...and Carl's corny comments. Carl spent the night on our second date. That was some second date...he left at 2:45 the next day !He also told me he loved me on our second date...the feeling was mutual. I was ready to start dating again but couldn't have imagined the rush of emotions, the euphoria, the craziness, sleepless nights....the whole thing was like a 'whirlpool of hormones' ! I mean that in a good way ! If I wasn't with Carl, we were talking on the phone until 1 or 2 in the morning...knowing that I had to go to work in the morning. On our 3rd date we saw the movie Despicable Me. Carl sang out loud during the movie...he's a very outgoing guy...not what I was used to but I loved  his carefree ways. It was obvious to me (and everyone else in the theater )that this man was happy. We had dinner at Arbys. An older woman stopped us and asked if we were newlyweds. We both thought that was awesome. The physical attraction between us was 'off the charts' insane. Actually...it still is. We just can't get enough of one another. Carl moved in with me about 3 weeks after we met. He goes to church with me every Sunday...he loves my kids and grandkids...he makes beef sticks for me to take for lunch...We were definitely meant to be.

Humming Bird-Signs

     My mother was one to take signs literally .....a cardinal, seen in the front yard meant that we could expect company. A burning sensation in the ears..someone was gossiping about you.

     Right after the first date, with Tammy, I was sitting in the living room at the house where I rented. While drinking coffee, I saw a humming bird fly up to the living room picture window.....now, my mother God rest her....explained to me that if a humming bird showed up in your window,...it was a sign that something fast would happen in your life .....and it was true, something happened very fast, I fell in love, to the most wonderful girl in the world....Tammy....The humming bird shown on each side of the page is a reminder of that event....
